North Queensland Natural History Group Inc.

The North Queensland Natural History Group (NQNHG) is descended from the North Queensland Naturalist Club first formed in 1932 by Dr Hugo Flecker. The club also began publishing a journal in that year, the North Queensland Naturalist. The club existed officially until 2002.

The interest in nature generated by the club in north Queensland's biodiversity has been furthered by various other groups since, such as the Cape York Herpetological Society and the Tablelands Frog Club - please click the links below to find out more about the history of these groups.
